Undoubtedly, The Artist was the he and a very big winner at the 84th Academy Awards at Hollywood’s Kodak Theater on this Sunday, it was almost nominated in all big categories and the mist funniest thing is it won the most of the nominations too
This silent film took five awards home that night including , Best Picture, Best Director for Michel Hazanavicius, and Best Actor for leading man Jean Dujardin who is not even an American actor and he said I am so thank full and let me tell you that I am not American actor. I’m a French actor and I am so happy today
With all of that it was certainly a huge night for the great Meryl Streep, as she won the third Oscar that night too , she took home Best Actress for her dazzling performance as ex-British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady and she was looking marvelous in her dark golden dress
She said, when they called my name I was felling like half of Americans would be saying, Oh no not again, but I am sorry guys I am soo happy that it is me again, and then the now-three-time winner was smiling and giggling and she said, when I was playing that role I wanted at least that nominations, but I was not expecting this hot guy and I was not hoping that I will take him home too, I guess I am too old for him,
She added, I know that now I will never be up here again, so let me thank all of my colleagues, my friends and my family to make what I am today, I look out here and I see my life before my eyes, my old friends, my new friends my victories and my mistakes, thank you so much for all that beautiful moments
Aww, I can not say that she will never come up ever again, I think she will? we all love you Meryl Streep, you rock
