Where the Wild Things Are, is one of the all time favorite books of kids and I will say of all ages, because I am not a kid and I like it too much and today, we can say is the end of all such kind of books because the author, the brain master of all these books and the person who was blessed with the brain which was made to think stuff like that is not with us anymore

Sendak died on the morning of May 8, 2012, in Danbury after a severe stroke and he was surrounded with the friends and family at the moment, and that has broke the hearts of his fans and his loved ones and the news broke the happiness of small kids who always look forward that they will get something new from him.

His final book, “Bumble-Ardy”, was published eight months prior to his death and that will be the last book of Maurice Sendak and that is so hurting

Where The Wild Things Are? Is a 1963 children’s picture book by Maurice Sendak and originally published by Harper & Row and after to see the mega success of that book other Medias used it too including an animated short film in 1973

The book had sold over 19 million copies worldwide as of 2009; with 10 million of those being in the United States and this is still one of the best sellers of the story books

The book tells the story of Max, who one evening plays around his home in a wolf costume and he was behaving very badly and for a punishment, his mother sends him to bed without supper and that made him really sad

He is a very imaginative boy and his imagination creates a mysterious, wild forest and sea in his own room and Max sails to the land of the Wild Things.

The Wild Things are fearsome-looking monsters, but Max proves to be the fiercest he proved them that he is the strongest one by staring into all their yellow eyes without blinking once and that makes him the king of all wild things

He dance with them, play with them and then he feels that he is alone and he needs to go back home, because he misses him house and his Mum and returns home to his bedroom where he finds his supper waiting for him, still hot, awww?
